Pillar Capital Group’s President and Founder, Angela Cheung, with over 27 years of experience in real estate development and project management. She has led the company into the global marketplace by forming significant partnerships locally and internationally. She is currently providing development consulting services and managing over approximately $250 million in value of the real estate development projects in San Francisco.
Former San Francisco City Administrator William (Bill) Lee has over 40 years of business and government experience, having been appointed to the Planning Commission by three different Mayors, and serving on San Francisco’s first Commission on the Environment. He has also served on the Bay Area Economic Institute Board, and San Francisco Travel, working on bringing in international business, government and students to the Bay Area and developing international ties to San Francisco. Recently, he served as Director of International Economic and Tourism Development at the San Francisco Airport.
George is a graduate of Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, holds a law degree from UC Berkeley School of Law where he served on the California Law Review and is a member of the California State Bar. After a brief stint practicing real estate law, George embarked on a real estate career. His 35+ year real estate career is distinguished by repeated, stellar performances at TRI/Prudential Real Estate, Coldwell Banker, Pacific Union/GMAC where he managed both residential and commercial agents. George has overseen in excess of 10,000 real estate transactions during his career. George has extensive experience developing, selling and managing new home subdivisions, condominium conversions, commercial properties and mixed use residential and commercial developments, and has successfully developed multiple projects in both San Francisco and San Mateo. As an owner of Paragon Real Estate Group, George oversaw the company’s operations, served as Chief Legal Counsel and contributed his expertise on property development to Paragon’s New Homes division.
Kristian Brand is originally from the Pacific Northwest and has lived in San Francisco since 2006. He received his B.A. from the University of Washington in Political Science, then went on to pursue his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was an Associate Editor of the Journal of International Economic Law. He earned a Certificate in Business and Public Policy from the Wharton School of Business, with a concentration in real estate finance and development.
Kristian is currently the President of Compass Commercial real estate brokerage. Previous to his current position, he was the President of Paragon Commercial Brokerage, and also a practicing transactional attorney. His focus during his legal career has primarily been on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, structuring joint ventures, leasing, and developments of commercial, mixed-use and multifamily projects. During the course of his career, he has represented some of the nation’s leading real estate lenders, national and international real estate developers and hospitality companies, and several preeminent telecommunication and technology companies.
Jonathan was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Jonathan successfully brokered and closed aggregate transactions of over $150M+ of resales and new home sales for his valued clients, specializing in new home development to marketing and sales management. His experience also includes leading an asset management division, servicing over 115 rental income properties on behalf of clients and investors.
