Angela Cheung, President and Founder of Pillar Capital Group, is a licensed Real Estate Broker in both California and Massachusetts. Born and educated in Hong Kong, she completed her high school diploma there before relocating to the Bay Area to pursue higher education.
In 1993, a year before earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Angela obtained her real estate license and began her career in the San Francisco Bay Area. With over 30 years of experience in real estate entitlement and development, project management, marketing, commercial sales, and consulting services, she has guided Pillar Capital Group’s growth into the global marketplace through strategic partnerships both locally and internationally.
Her current and past real estate development projects in San Francisco have a combined value exceeding $250 million.
Former San Francisco City Administrator William (Bill) Lee has over 40 years of business and government experience, having been appointed to the Planning Commission by three different Mayors, and serving on San Francisco’s first Commission on the Environment. He has also served on the Bay Area Economic Institute Board, and San Francisco Travel, working on bringing in international business, government and students to the Bay Area and developing international ties to San Francisco. Recently, he served as Director of International Economic and Tourism Development at the San Francisco Airport.
Kristian Brand is originally from the Pacific Northwest and has lived in San Francisco since 2006. He received his B.A. from the University of Washington in Political Science, then went on to pursue his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was an Associate Editor of the Journal of International Economic Law. He earned a Certificate in Business and Public Policy from the Wharton School of Business, with a concentration in real estate finance and development.
Kristian is currently the President of Compass Commercial real estate brokerage. Previous to his current position, he was the President of Paragon Commercial Brokerage, and also a practicing transactional attorney. His focus during his legal career has primarily been on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, structuring joint ventures, leasing, and developments of commercial, mixed-use and multifamily projects. During the course of his career, he has represented some of the nation’s leading real estate lenders, national and international real estate developers and hospitality companies, and several preeminent telecommunication and technology companies.
Jonathan Ng, a San Francisco Bay Area native, is a Licensed CA Real Estate Broker with nearly 15 years of industry experience. He offers a unique, well-rounded background, having represented clients across residential sales, international marketing, commercial and multi-family transactions, land entitlement, development, new home sales, VA and UC programs, Fortune 500 asset management, the Mayor’s Office of Housing, probate/trust sales, and property management. Clients value his comprehensive expertise, from pre-entitlement consulting and design strategies to construction management, marketing, and quality control.
Jonathan has closed over $350M in property sales, with 350+ homes sold, 2,000+ leases and renewals, and oversight of 4 new development projects. As President of Pillar Capital Real Estate, he leads the property management division, servicing 300 investment properties.
